So,this is rate for personal payment, not online purchases, is it?

just a reminder, in case some people are still confunded with the terms:

- paying via goods: the seller will cover the fees of the transaction.
- paying via gifted: the buyer (YOU) will be paying the transaction fees.

when paying gifted, means you will incur extra costs apart from the price quoted.
you will be paying asking price + paypal fees.

sellers usually request to pay gifted so that the amount that they receive will not be deducted by the time they receive it. but you will not get paypal protection this way in case your item gets lost midway.

to be protected even if the mama requests for you to pay gifted, you can choose to pay via goods, but to top up abit more $ to the asking price so that the seller will still be able to get their asking price in full, and you still get coverage in case anything goes wrong.
